Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Ideas operates entirely on your device. When you:

• Create jars and add ideas
• Customize fonts and backgrounds
• Use the shake gesture feature
• Navigate through the app

All of this information remains exclusively on your iPhone or iPad. We have no access to your ideas, jar names, or any other content you create.

How We Use Information

Since we don't collect any personal information, we don't use, analyze, or process any of your data. Your ideas and app usage patterns are never transmitted to us or any third parties.

Data Storage and Security

Your data security is handled by:

• iOS Security: Protected by your device's built-in security features
• Device Encryption: Automatically encrypted if you use device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID
• No Cloud Sync: Data doesn't leave your device unless you manually backup via iTunes/Finder
• App Sandbox: Ideas can only access its own data containers

Third-Party Services

Ideas does not integrate with any third-party services, including:

• ❌ Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• ❌ Advertising networks
• ❌ Social media platforms
• ❌ Cloud storage services
• ❌ Crash reporting services

App Permissions

Ideas requests minimal permissions:

• Motion & Fitness: Only to detect shake gestures for the random idea picker feature
• Photos (if applicable): Only if you choose to add custom background images

These permissions are used solely for app functionality and no data is transmitted externally.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Ideas is suitable for all ages, including children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information from any users, we automatically comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

International Users

Ideas works the same way regardless of your location. We don't collect location data or treat users differently based on their geographic location. Your privacy protections are the same whether you're in the US, Europe (GDPR), Canada, or anywhere else in the world.

Data Backup and Transfer

If you backup your device or transfer to a new device:

• iTunes/Finder Backup: Your Ideas data will be included in local backups
• iCloud Backup: App data may be included in your iCloud backup (controlled by your iOS settings)
• Quick Start/Migration: Data transfers directly between your devices

We have no access to or control over these Apple-managed backup processes.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect app updates or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page and in the app if significant. Since we don't collect contact information, we can't notify you directly of changes.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) don't apply in the usual sense. However:

• Full Control: You have complete control over all your data since it's stored locally
• Delete Anytime: Simply delete the app to remove all associated data
• No Tracking: There's no user profile or account to manage
